The Line Up
Faithless (DJ Set)
Ft: Sister Bliss
Café Mambo are bringing Ibiza to Bedford with their strongest line up to date. Pete Tong and Danny Howard will be joined by Faithless, Hannah Wants, Riton and support from Bedford’s own Mark Russell.
Back by popular demand after their incredible night in Bedford Park 2019, the iconic house music collective Café Mambo Ibiza will be here again on Saturday 11th September 2021.
This incredible open-air show will be one of the biggest and most spectacular Mambo events in the UK in 2021, with a star-studded line-up of DJs spinning the biggest new tracks and iconic club classics to get the crowd on their feet. Mambo are world famous for creating an amazing atmosphere with their infectious house sounds and with many people not able to travel to Ibiza this Summer, they are bringing their party to us here in Bedford!
PETE TONG - There are few individuals in the world of dance music who can claim the kind of influence Pete Tong has had over the last twenty years. As the voice of Radio 1’s prestigious dance programming, Pete has held a commanding presence over the industry for more than two decades. His unique position has earned him a reputation as the global ambassador of dance music. With an unparalleled ear for new talent, Tong has become the leading tastemaker of the electronic generation. While he’s known publicly as Pete Tong the DJ, behind the scenes, he’s an industry icon.
DANNY HOWARD - Danny Howard has selected his way to become the tastemaker of his generation. Between hosting his influential Friday night show on BBC Radio 1 and heading his own record label Nothing Else Matters, he maintains an unwavering respect for his craft at the forefront of all that he does. Always one step ahead, few cater to that dance-floor and airwaves as adroitly as Danny, who believes that building a relationship with his audience is the key to fulfilling his role as a trusted voice in electronic music.
FAITHLESS need little introduction, selling over 15 million records worldwide, giving electronic music some of its finest moments with tracks like ‘Insomnia’, ‘God Is A DJ’ and ‘We Come 1’. Over 20 years they’ve delivered consistently, whether on stage or behind the decks with Sister Bliss and have a strong Ibiza connection.
HANNAH WANTS remains one of the most in-demand DJs in the world, playing to huge crowds everywhere including the likes of Glastonbury, Coachella, Printworks, London and Amnesia, Ibiza. Her sold out ‘What Hannah Wants’ tour will be the perfect warm up as she road tests her latest productions for you in Bedford Park.
RITON is probably best known for his crossover smash ‘Rinse & Repeat’ ft Kah-Lo but he is also an artist with a rich dance music history, with releases on such respected labels as Ed Banger, Grand Central and Modular Records. He cut his teeth with residencies at respected clubs like Shindig in Newcastle and 333 Club in London.

The Prime Minister’s confirmation that formal Covid-19 restrictions ended on Monday 19 July means that the concerts at Bedford Park looks set to operate in a far more familiar, effectively “normal” manner.
As the Prime Minister has stressed, the coming weeks will require a significant degree of personal responsibility. If you do feel unwell, have covid symptoms or have been advised to self isolate you should not attend the event. We will have Track & Trace QR codes positioned throughout the venue and would ask all attendees to scan and check in on arrival.
The Government guidance around “hands, face, space, fresh air” remains appropriate advice to all individuals attending a concert at Bedford Park. We will provide plenty of hand sanitiser, guidance and signage around the site to support this advice. Of course, being an outdoor concert, we have plenty of fresh air and space for concert goers to distance themselves if they feel this is appropriate and more comfortable to them. Government guidance to individuals regarding face coverings is that these are advisable when indoors or in a busy area. Please be aware that this is Government guidance to individuals, so we would recommend wearing face coverings in busy areas.
To make concertgoers aware in advance, we will not be mandating concertgoers to wear face coverings when in busy areas – rather it is encouraged and recommended. Our close contact team, such as those in the bar areas will be lateral flow tested daily. Staff onsite will be given the option to wear face coverings.

Should tickets be available to purchase on the day of the concert, we will make an announcement about prices and availability closer to the event.
